How We Checked Jerkay and the Alternatives

We did not run a long hands-on test of every site. Here is what we did.

• Jerkay, October 1, 2026. From a US connection in desktop Chrome, we read its Terms, Privacy Policy and DMCA policy and ran the start flow several times.

• What we logged. Where each button led, which third-party services loaded, the queue and the online counter. We used a simulated camera and closed the chat once the queue cleared, so we held no conversations and did not test report or block that day.

• Inside a chat. We rely on the 30-minute session in our Jerkay review, last updated September 30, 2026.

• Other sites. For Gydoo, Chatrandom, Flingster and CamSurf, we only read their own homepages, help pages and terms on October 1, 2026. We did not test them.

• User reports. We read r/askgaybros threads. Those are anecdotes, not verified facts.

Is There a Gay Random Video Chat App?

If you search for a gay random video chat app, you mostly find websites. The adult gay roulette sites we looked at run in your phone's browser, and Jerkay opens there with nothing to install.

App store rules are strict here. Apple's App Review Guidelines say apps used mainly for "Chatroulette-style experiences, random or anonymous chat" do not belong on the App Store. A separate rule excludes "overtly sexual or pornographic material."

Google Play's policy says it does not allow apps that "contain or promote sexual content," including pornography.

CamSurf is one random chat with an Android app, but it is a general site, not a gay one. Its Community Guidelines ban being naked on camera and anything that simulates or suggests sexual activity.

Be careful with "gay chat" APK files from download sites. An app from an unknown publisher can ask for far more access to your phone than a browser tab, and you cannot tell who built it.

Newer Gay-Only Video Chat Sites You Will See in Search

Search results for gay random video chat are full of new gay-only sites. On 6 October 2026 we read the homepages and policies of five that ranked well: Guyzy, Guyloo, JollyJerk, JerkMesh and JerkGo.

We did not test any of them, and none is a SpicyRanked partner. Everything below is what their own pages say.

The promises are similar. All five pitch free, anonymous chat for men in the browser, with no sign-up, for adults only.

"No data stored" needs a closer read. Guyzy's homepage says it "never stores personal data or chat history" and shows a "No Data Stored" badge.

Its Privacy Policy, updated 3 October 2026, says the information it may collect includes your "IP address (for abuse prevention and to route your connection)," device and browser details, and the gender, age and preferences you pick.

Guyzy's, Guyloo's and JollyJerk's policies all say they do not record your video. JollyJerk's says server logs, which can include your IP address, are usually kept for 30 days or less.

Guyzy's policy is also frank about two limits of live video. On a direct peer-to-peer connection, your IP address can be visible to the person you are matched with. And anyone can record their screen, which Guyzy says it "cannot detect or prevent."

JerkMesh says it uses IP hashes for rate limits, bans and moderation, and may store report snapshots. JerkGo's policy lists image snapshots "captured for abuse review" among the data it may process.

Several share an owner network. Guyzy's footer lists a network of Dudevo, Guyloo, Kinkzo, Camjey and Guyzy, and Guyloo's footer lists Guyzy too. Apart from the site names, their privacy policies read almost the same.

Treat their comparison tables as ads. Guyzy's homepage table scores Guyzy 9.2, ahead of every rival. Guyloo's table also puts Guyzy (9.2) and Guyloo (9.0) at the top.

None of the five names a company behind it on the pages we read. That does not make them unsafe, but the same rules apply as on Jerkay: assume your IP is logged and assume the other person can record.

Is Free Gay Random Video Chat Really Free?

On Jerkay, you never pay. Its homepage FAQ says: "Yes, jerkay is 100% free. There are no hidden costs, no premium plans, and no credit card required." We were never asked for payment on October 1, 2026.

Jerkay does not say how it makes money. What we saw points to advertising and referral traffic, though we could not verify the deals behind it.

• Start Chat opens two things. In all five sessions where we tracked it, clicking Start Chat opened the chat in a new tab, while the original tab was sent through an ad server to third-party sites such as Stripchat and Manfinder.

• Skip Queue is an ad. When the chat said "All chat slots are taken," the Skip Queue button opened Stripchat's men's section in a new tab. Our Jerkay tab still showed the same queue position afterwards.

• Trackers load on arrival. The homepage called an ad server, Google Analytics and an error monitoring service. The Privacy Policy says Jerkay collects your "IP address, device information, browser type, and usage patterns" through cookies.

None of this costs money, but expect extra tabs and adult ads you may not want on a work screen.

Mixed sites charge for extras instead. Chatrandom's Help Center says gender and location filters need a Plus account, though its Gay Chat is free. Flingster's FAQ says premium members can filter "by location and gender."

Gay Random Video Chat With No Registration: What You Still Share

No registration means no account or email. It does not mean no data.

Jerkay's start form asks for your gender (male or couple), your age, the age range you want (18 to 70) and optional countries, plus a "Prefer users with face" box.

Jerkay's Privacy Policy, last updated June 2, 2023, sets out what it keeps:

• Profiles: "Your profile or account is stored up to 30 days after your last activity."

• Reported profiles: kept "for 6 months in order to be able to answer requests from law enforcement agencies."

• Messages: "Sent messages (including pictures or videos) are stored up to 14 days."

• Video: "Video chats are not recorded or stored by us."

The Terms add that Jerkay "will fully disclose the data stored by us" to law enforcement in cases of legal violations.

That helps if someone abuses you, and it means anonymous is not untraceable.

Jerkay Age Verification: What We Saw

Jerkay's homepage says it uses "anonymous age verification" with "No ID uploads, no names, no email addresses."

In our September 30 review session, Jerkay sent us to a third-party service called Ageefy, which offered a face scan or an ID document scan. That ID option sits awkwardly with the "No ID uploads" promise.

On October 1, from a US connection, no age check appeared before the chat opened. We could not confirm why, so expect this step to differ by location or over time.

Ageefy's homepage says sites can use face verification or "request an additional ID verification." Its privacy policy says it keeps your IP address and the result, including estimated age and gender.

Standard session records are deleted within one hour, but verifications saved with a Passkey are kept for one year. Ageefy says it does not persistently store camera images. We could not verify that independently.

If you get the choice, a face scan shares less than an ID document.

What Happens When You Video Chat With Strangers on Jerkay?

The homepage promises "No waiting around." Our chat tab often opened on a queue instead.

We saw "All chat slots are taken" with queue positions from #15 down to #5. In the one session we waited out, #8 became an open chat window in about 10 seconds.

Jerkay's counter showed 597 to 762 guys online between about 12:40 PM and 12:55 PM IST. The homepage claims over 10,000 gay men a day. We cannot verify either number.

Inside the chat, our review session found lots of skipping, random countries, uneven camera quality and explicit content that can appear on the first match.

Report and block tools exist, but they only help after something has happened.

Reddit threads in r/askgaybros echo this: constant skipping, users who look older than the age they picked, and one user in a thread about Jerkay and Flingster who said two users turned out to be 17.

These are unverified anecdotes, but they show why the next section matters.

How Moderation Works on Gay Chat Roulette Sites

Every site promises a safe space. Here is what each one's own pages say about moderation and age checks. We tested only Jerkay.

Moderation on these sites works after the fact. A report can get someone banned, but nothing stops a user from screen recording you before you skip.

A tick box is not age verification. If a site has no visible report button, or you keep seeing the same rule breakers, move on.

Gay Chat Roulette Safety: Consent, Privacy and Minors

Random video chat is for adults only. Jerkay's Terms say "You must be at least 18 years of age or older to use the Service."

Consent Comes First

A match is not consent. Ask before you go explicit, and stop if the other person skips, goes quiet or says no.

Sharing someone's intimate images without consent is abuse and may be a crime. Recording someone without consent may also break privacy or recording laws, depending on where you both are, so check your local law.

Jerkay's Terms also ban "invading their privacy."

Protect Your Identity

• Keep your face out of frame until you are comfortable, and assume any frame can be saved.

• Clear your background of mail, ID cards, work badges, photos and window views.

• Never share your name, workplace, city, phone number, social handles or a username you use elsewhere.

• Never send money, gift cards or crypto to anyone you meet on a random chat.

• Check the address bar says jerkay.com. Another domain using the Jerkay name shows up in search results, and we did not verify who runs it.

Should You Use a VPN?

Some roulette sites connect your camera directly to the other person's browser. Guyzy's privacy policy says that on a direct peer-to-peer connection your IP address can be visible to the person you are chatting with.

A VPN hides your real IP address from the chat site and its ad partners, which Jerkay's policy says it collects.

NordVPN is one option, and it is a SpicyRanked affiliate partner.

Some chat sites block VPNs, and Gydoo says it does. We did not test Jerkay with a VPN on, and a VPN does nothing about what you show on camera.

If Someone Threatens to Share a Recording

1. Do not pay. The FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) says the FBI "does not condone the payment of online extortion demands."

2. Stop replying and save evidence of the threats and usernames before you block.

3. Report it by filing a complaint with IC3 if you are in the US. Elsewhere, contact your local police.

4. Tell Jerkay. Its DMCA policy says that if someone shared private pictures or videos of you through the platform, you should email contact@yabeat.io with the user ID so it can "secure the user data."

5. Help stop the spread with StopNCII.org, which creates a digital fingerprint on your device and shares only that hash with participating companies. It is for people who are in the image, were 18 or older when it was taken, are over 18 now and still have the image or video.

If You See Someone Who Might Be a Minor

1. Leave the chat immediately.

2. Use the site's report tool so it can act on the user.

3. Never save, screenshot or share anything sexual involving a minor.

4. In the US, report online to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's CyberTipline, which IC3 names as the place to report crimes against children. NCMEC's 24-hour call center is 1-800-843-5678. Elsewhere, report to local police.

If you live somewhere that criminalizes same-sex relationships, a leak can carry legal risk, not just embarrassment.

Jerkay's Terms of Service name yaBeat Entertainment Inc. as the operator, under the laws of Panama. Disputes go through informal resolution and mediation, then binding JAMS arbitration in the U.S., with no class actions.
